How we want washletsdirect.co.uk to work for as many people as possible, and how to ask for another format.

Our aim
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA where the ShopWired platform and our own theme allow it. Recent work includes named search and trolley controls, a main landmark, a usable cookie banner, and basket canvas handling when the mini-trolley is closed.
Known limits
- Some listing carousels and third-party scripts are provided by the shop platform and can still produce imperfect screen-reader announcements.
- Product images from manufacturers do not always include a long text alternative beyond the product title.
- The cookie banner and checkout are platform components; we can style them more easily than we can rebuild them.
- Older PDF manufacturer drawings may not be tagged for assistive technology. Ask us if you need the same information in another format.
How to get help
If a page is hard to use, email [email protected] with the subject “Accessibility”, the URL, and the assistive technology you use if you wish. We will reply within five working days and can send product data, prices or these policies as plain text or a Word file.

Enforcement
If you are not happy with our response you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service or, for public-sector style complaints about accessibility regulations, the relevant regulator. This is a private retail site; we still take the feedback.
